Alpine Companies is proud of the concrete project we completed for a Denver area Target store. The Target in Littleton needed three concrete scupper drainage pads installed to help with their building’s roof drainage.

The original scupper pads that were installed when the building was constructed were too small and the water was drain negatively towards the building’s foundation. The new concrete scupper pads needed to be capable of handling all the water that drains from the building and redirect it away from the foundation. Because of this, Target knew they needed to find a concrete company that not only could handle the concrete pads, but one that also had experience dealing with drainage issues. Alpine Companies was chosen because of their knowledge and expertise in both concrete and drainage. They also chose Alpine based on their quality workmanship, the fact that they are licensed, insured and perform all their own work (no sub-contracting to other companies).

For the project, Alpine removed the existing concrete scuppers, back filled the area with new class 6 road base and compacted the base to 95%. Then they installed a rebar grid, poured the concrete and finished the concrete surface with a light broom texture.
