Why do the estimates I am receiving for my concrete project vary so much?

This is a very good question and I hope these answers will help.

1. The old rule of thumb is still a good rule to follow, make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Alpine Companies does concrete one way and one way only, the right way! All our concrete projects are constructed with the highest quality materials and workmanship possible. Alpine Companies takes all precautions necessary when removing existing concrete, or if there is excavation to do, that all other areas of your landscaping are protected. Alpine Companies also makes sure the areas to be poured are fully compacted with road base, and a rebar grid or mesh is used. Alpine Companies also uses a minimum straight cement mix design of 4000# PSI, on all our concrete pours.

2. What you are going to receive as the finished product is very important, because all concrete jobs are not the same. Another benefit in going with Alpine Companies is that we understand concrete is guaranteed to do two things, turn gray and eventually crack. Especially with Denvers harsh freeze thaw cycles and out expansive soil problems, {bentonite}. That is where our experience of over 50 years, and thousands of concrete pours completed here In Colorado benefits our customers tremendously. We know how to properly compact all the different ranges of soils, as well as add lots of control joints in our concrete pours, to make sure that when cracking occurs it stays in the control joints.
